Job summary

XL Dynamics India Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai seeks a Software Manual Tester to join our QA team. The role involves analyzing business requirements and creating test cases, executing tests, and producing testing reports for REST APIs and UI flows.

You should have 1–4 years of manual testing experience with familiarity in Postman, Jira, JSON, and Agile practices. Experience with chatbot or AI apps is a plus. Shift may include Day/Night, with growth opportunities based on performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of manual testing experience.
• Good knowledge of test design and execution.
• Familiarity with API testing using REST and tools like Postman.
• Experience with Jira for bug tracking and reporting.
• Understanding of STLC concepts and release notes preparation.
• Ability to analyze requirements and prepare test cases.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and prepare test cases based on plans.
• Execute test cases and perform regression testing.
• Prepare testing reports and metrics.
• Track and follow up on bugs until resolution.
• Demonstrate STLC knowledge and contribute to release notes.
• Review test plans and ensure coverage for API testing (REST).
• Utilize Postman and Jira; communicate effectively in an Agile environment.
• Work with JSON data and analytical thinking.

• Position: Software Manual Tester
• Job Shift: Day/Night
• Experience: 1–4 Years
• Education: We hire based on individual talent, skill and work ethic. Formal degrees are not a material in our hiring decision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze Business requirements and prepare test cases based on the plans issued.
• Execution of test cases, Regress test.
• Preparation of a testing report.
• Bug tracking and follow up.
• Complete STLC knowledge & working experience.
• Preparation of release notes.
• Test plan reviews.
• API Testing (REST).
• Postman, jira, communication skills, Quality Testing, Agile, JSON, Analytical.
• 1+ years of Manual Testing experience.
• Working experience on chatbot or AI applications is an advantage.
