Job summary

DTCC is seeking an experienced software developer to design, deploy, and support applications and data-driven solutions. You will work with cross-functional partners to deliver secure and reliable technology platforms that support global capital markets.

The role emphasizes data warehousing, cloud, and DevOps practices, with a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and a strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience in software development/data warehousing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle/Snowflake, Data hub and Data quality.

The Impact You Will Have In This Role

Responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions.

May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance,

or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm.

The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages.

Software Developers work closely with business partners in defining requirements and implementing solutions.

Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with Oracle/Snow Flake,Data hub nd Data quality.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as product management, application development, DevOps, and other technical groups.
• Take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion.

Talents Needed For Success

• Experience with developing SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts in Oracle or cloud warehouse like Snowflake
• Optimization and performance tuning of data processing workflows for improved efficiency
• Hands on experience of Java / python or shell scripting are desired as secondary skills
• Should be a learner and have problem solving skills and participate in design discussions.
• Motivated team player to understand holistic end to end functionality of application
• Hands on experience with AI empowered tools for development like Kiro, Amazon Q ,co-pilot.
• Strong understanding on cloud warehouse architecture and services in AWS or similar cloud platform
• Knowledge of data warehouse principles like star schema model using slowly changing dimension and facts is desired
• Experience in scheduling jobs using Autosys or similar tools
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Maven, Jenkins, nexus and fortify.
• Solid understanding of Agile, CI/CD, Dev/Ops practices and tools
• Strong soft skills including attention to detail, verbal and written communication, team oriented and self-motivated
• Experienced in working with a geographically separated team.
