Job summary

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) in Hyderabad, India, seeks a Software Engineer to join the RDS Delivery Team working on the Global Trade Repository (GTR) platform. You will be part of an Agile squad delivering robust, scalable software aligned with regulatory and client needs.

You will collaborate with architects, product managers, and end users to detail requirements, implement solutions, and ensure high-quality software delivery in a hybrid onsite/remote setup.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Python, SQL, Snowflake and AWS technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot/Core/MVC/JDBC, and JUnit.

Responsibilities

• Develop controls for core applications in compliance with functional requirements.
• Create unit tests ensuring compliance with functional specs.
• Follow design and coding standards; contribute to CI/CD improvements.
• Create and maintain system documentation.
• Integrate risk/control processes into daily tasks to monitor and mitigate risk.
• Contribute to component design or individual programs.
• Provide production support for applications as needed.
• Collaborate with SMEs to review designs and specifications.
• Apply varied software development methodologies per project.

The Impact You Will Have In This Role

Being a member of the RDS (Repository and Derivative Services) Delivery Team, you will be part of the Application development of the GTR (Global Trade Repository) platform. You would be part of an Agile squad and will collaborate with the other GTR regional teams (verticals) and the horizontals / CoE within the RDS group and across DTCC. You would actively participate and contribute on developing and delivering a robust and scalable platform solution as per the regulatory and client requirements. The Software Engineering role specializes in planning, detailing technical requirements, crafting, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end‑users in the development and improvement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that tackle sophisticated business problems.

Talents Needed For Success

• 3+ yrs of exp in in Python , SQL, Snowflake, Amazon Web Services, EC2, S3, UNIX and related technologies
• Hands on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring (Boot, Core, MVC, JDBC, Security), JUnit.
