Job summary

Ecolab in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Software Engineering Manager II for Microsoft Dynamics 365 to lead the CRM platform globally and extend platforms to meet business needs. You will collaborate with internal and external partners, own technical direction, and drive delivery against the roadmap while mentoring developers and ensuring engineering quality.

The role requires 10+ years in IT and 6+ years in MS Dynamics 365, with strong C#, .NET and JavaScript skills, and experience with integrations

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in IT environments.
• 6+ years’ strong experience in MS Dynamics 365 implementation & support; extensive experience in C#, .NET, JavaScript.
• Strong experience in Web API development and plug-ins.
• Strong experience in integration technologies including SQL Server & KingswaySoft.
• Proficient with Microsoft Azure DevOps, Visual Studio and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage D365 developers and QA/DevOps, hiring, mentoring and performance reviews.
• Own engineering delivery against roadmap, milestones, dependencies, risks and capacity; remove blockers for predictable delivery.
• Review business requirements and provide technical feasibility and estimates.
• Set technical direction for the team, ensure MS/D365 best practices and architecture alignment.
• Collaborate with Business groups to translate requirements into technical solutions and documentation.
• Oversee integrations between D365 and Azure, ERPs, downstream/upstream systems, and Power Platform.

Software Engineering Manager II - Microsoft Dynamics 365

Ecolab provides an exciting opportunity to join our Enterprise AI team as Software Engineering Manager. This role will focus on digital technologies & platforms to enable & support our Enterprise CRM globally. The Software Engineering Manager will be a key member to lead the technical team, with a focus on extending platforms to meet business requirements & collaborating with internal & external developer partners to ensure optimal solution development.

This position is based out of our Bengaluru, India office

• Participate in the Scrum process as a developer, with activities including Program Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Estimating, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Demos and Sprint retrospectives.

Minimal Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience working in an IT environment
• 6+ years’ strong experience in MS Dynamics 365 implementation & support; extensive experience in programming languages: C#, .NET, JavaScript
• Strong experience in Web API development and plug in’s
• Strong experience in integration technologies including SQL Server & KingswaySoft to connect internal & third-party systems
• String experience using Microsoft Azure Dev Ops, MS Visual Studio and MS SQL server

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related area
• Experience with Power BI, SQL Server Integration Services, ASP.net, client-side JavaScript frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience of working in a methodical and structured manner
• Excellent communication skills: presentation, written, and oral
• Strong interpersonal skills to successfully team with software vendors, outsourcing partners and internal business and IT associates
• Must be able to perform as an effective member in a team-oriented environment, maintain a positive attitude, and achieve desired results while working with minimal supervision
• Enthusiasm for learning new skills and technologies, and passion for conveying knowledge
• Excellent organization skills
