Job summary

Addepar is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to scale the platform and architect cross-cutting solutions. You will drive technical direction, collaborate with diverse teams, and build a high-performing engineering unit in a fintech context from Pune, India.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering, strong leadership in fintech, and deep experience with Java, Kafka, Spring Boot, AWS and databases. Visa sponsorship is not available.

The Role

Addepar is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager to join our world-class team. In this high-impact role, you won't just lead a group of engineers—you'll be the driving force behind scaling the Addepar Platform and architecting cross-cutting solutions that redefine how our products interact.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving the technical direction for cross cutting products across Addepar.
• Collaborating with teams from various departments to successfully implement platform strategies.
• Building and managing a team of exceptional engineers.
• Ensuring flawless and timely execution of deliverables.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with partners across Addepar.

Who You Are

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in software engineering
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams in fintech space.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good experience and knowledge in the below tech stack including :

Java (Version 17 OR 21) , Kafka, Spring Boot, Quarkus, AWS , SQL/noSQL Databases

Nice to have experience with CI/CD pipelines ,terraform, docker, kubernetes, etc
