Job Description

As a Software Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for the following:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Understand the Facets Delivery, Client priority, and requirements.
• Adapt and adopt new technology footprints to optimize business solutions.
• Apply knowledge of principles and techniques to solve technical problems.
• Translate business requirements/functional design to job design.
• Work on EDI transactions like 837 and 835.
• Contribute in DevOps, CI/CD, and other engineering forums.
• Design and develop UI solutions using C#.NET/Angular JS.
• Work both independently and in a team environment.
• Engage actively as a scrum team member in all agile mechanisms.
• Review, analyze, develop/modifies, and complete stories within the definition of done, on time within original estimates.
• Handle all aspects of deliverables (detailed code design, coding, unit and integration test, automation, and deployment).
• Understand existing designs and technology choices within products and make appropriate adjustments when necessary.
• Participate in peer reviews.
• Develop innovative approaches on performance optimization & automation.
• Deliver solutions devoid of significant security vulnerabilities.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Ensure tickets are closed within SLA.
• Apply learnings from on-call rotation into delivered software.
• Contribute to outage retrospective discussions and documentation.
• Participate in requirement gathering and production support for incidents.
• Provide timely updates on tasks.
• Adhere to defined SLA compliance.
• Lead a small team of 3-4 Developers & take end-to-end ownership of the delivery by participating in the solutioning and reviews until implementation.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, and directives related to employment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 8 years overall IT experience.
• 5 years of experience in Facets Claims domain.
• 5 years of development and testing experience in C#/.NET programming language.
• 5 years of Database Design/Programming experience.
• 2 years of Agile experience.
• Experience in implementing interfaces in Claims domain in Facets, including Data Model, Core Claims processing batch jobs, Facets UI, and Facets Workflow.
• Good knowledge of the US Healthcare Industry.
• Understanding of end-to-end claim and payment lifecycle in Facets.
• Good understanding of claims pricing, errors, edits, adjustments, and payments.
• Understanding of key HIPAA X12 EDI transactions like 837, 277CA, 835, etc.
• Proven organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CI/CD Experience.
• Healthcare EDI Experience.
• Knowledge of data-streaming (like Kafka).
• Knowledge of NetworX pricer.
• Understanding of Medicaid / Medicare line of business.
• Understanding of production support processes.
• Comfortable executing SQL queries, procedures, and cursors.
