Software Engineer-Tool Analyst

About role

SmartShift Technologies is seeking an analyst to work on its patented tools with basic SAP-ABAP knowledge. The role involves managing clients, utilizing MS-Excel for generating reports, and working with PostgreSQL as the underlying database. The analyst will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (clients, technical teams, and project managers) to ensure seamless project execution and optimal results.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize SmartShift's proprietary tools to plan, execute, and manage all Pre-sales Project Requests.
2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in preparing Excel reports and PowerPoint presentations.
3. Work on upgrade, carveout, and consolidation projects to ensure successful execution.
4. Manage, manipulate, and extract data from PostgreSQL databases for migration and reporting purposes.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 1-3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in MS-Excel for report generation and PowerPoint for presentations.
• Basic knowledge of SAP ERP and SAP-ABAP.
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries, preferably with PostgreSQL databases.
• Good analytical skills to analyze issues and provide effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for better collaboration.
• A positive attitude, patience, and a zeal to learn new things.
