Blackbaud is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to help build and enhance AI-powered solutions for social impact. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with engineers, product leaders, and UX professionals to deliver reliable, scalable applications that empower purpose-driven organizations worldwide.

Formación

• 2 to 5 years of experience designing and developing Java applications.
• Experience with modern web technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience working with Tomcat, Linux, and Jenkins in software development environments.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and Cosmos DB databases.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented development principles and software engineering best practices.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful services and APIs, along with source control tools such as Git and continuous integration systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-based application development on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, and the ability to deliver secure, high-quality, operable software.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance application performance, user experience, and development processes.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
• Partner with engineers and user experience teams to translate design concepts into accessible, standards-compliant web experiences.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and help shape effective, long-term architectural decisions.
• Support Agile delivery by actively participating in sprint planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.
• Maintain strong engineering standards through code quality practices, operational excellence, and ongoing support of delivered solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery and improve quality, and actively experiment with emerging capabilities as they evolve.

What you’ll bring
