About the Role

Omnissa is seeking a Software Engineer to join the UEM Platform team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on designing, developing, and scaling the Workspace ONE platform so it can support billions of devices across a variety of operating systems and device types.

Responsibilities

• Write and design code for scalable software in C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework.
• Own engineering initiatives and champion high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
• Deliver new platform use‑cases and design solutions that scale existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate code into shared codebases.
• Identify and address code, design, architecture, scalability, usability, and supportability gaps, and lead the implementation of solutions.
• Build and maintain distributed applications based on an event‑driven architecture.
• Use SQL, PostgreSQL, or OpenSearch for data persistence; Kafka, Redis, or RabbitMQ for inter‑ and intra‑service communication.
• Develop front‑end features with ASP.NET MVC and Angular.
• Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests; use mocking and instrumentation to ensure code quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and object‑oriented design.
• Experience with multithreaded programming, debugging, troubleshooting, and log analysis.
• Knowledge of large‑scale enterprise deployments and cloud computing.
