Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group is seeking a hands-on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations professional to lead delivery, customization, and integration for global finance platforms.

You will develop X++ extensions, build data integrations with DMF/DIXF, and configure reporting with SSRS and Power BI while collaborating closely with DevOps and ALM processes.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on technical experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (and AX 2012 legacy environments).
• Proficiency in X++, C# / .NET, SQL Server / T-SQL, and Visual Studio development environments.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and OData endpoints.
• Expertise in SysTest framework, ALM, LCS deployment procedures, and extension patterns.
• Desirable travel tech domain knowledge or multi-currency billing operations.

Summary

Responsible for the hands-on technical delivery, customization, integration, and ongoing technical support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and associated upstream/downstream finance and travel platforms.

Day in the life:

1. Technical Delivery & Development

• X++ Customizations & Extensions: Design, develop, and maintain custom X++ extensions, data models, and business logic adhering to Microsoft best practices and extension framework guidelines.
• Integrations & Data Management: Build and support integrations using Data Management Framework (DMF/DIXF), OData, Recurring Integrations, and Azure Web Services to connect D365 F&O with mid-office booking engines, BSP/LCC travel reconciliation tools, and payment platforms.
• Reporting & Analytics: Configure and customize Electronic Reporting (ER), Financial Reporting, SSRS, and Power BI dashboards to meet multi-country financial governance and reporting rules.

2. Environment Management & DevOps

• ALM & Azure DevOps: Manage code repositories, branching strategies, build/release pipelines (CI/CD), and deployable package management using Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps.
• Upgrades & Quality Assurance: Assist with continuous version updates/quality updates (e.g., v10.0.x releases), code regression testing, custom bug fixing, and performance optimization before go-live.

3. Support & Operational Excellence

• Level 3 Technical Support: Serve as the technical escalation point for critical system issues, batch job failures, entity synchronization errors, and interface breakdowns.
• ERP Migrations & Cutover Support: Provide technical expertise during rollouts and migrations—covering data mapping, parallel-run testing, cutover execution, UAT defect resolution, and post-go-live stabilization.

You'll be perfect for the role if you have:

• Core Experience: Strong hands-on technical experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (and AX 2012 legacy environments).
• Languages & Tools: Proficiency in X++, C# / .NET, SQL Server / T-SQL, and Visual Studio development environments.
• Integration Architectures: Practical experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and OData endpoints.
• D365 Architecture: Expertise in SysTest framework, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), LCS deployment procedures, and extension patterns.
• Domain Knowledge (Desirable): Prior experience in travel tech, mid/back-office reconciliation workflows (BSP/LCC), or multi-currency global billing operations
