Job summary

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in Bengaluru, India is hiring a Data Engineer to define and build data solutions for the Data Management & Analytics team. You will design ETLs, data integration workflows, and support data updates to the local DWH and datamarts.

You will document changes, ensure governance and privacy compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to maintain data quality and accessibility.

Qualifications

• >=2 years of Data Engineering experience.
• Experience with Azure Data Platform, Databricks, Data Factory, PySpark, MS SQL and ADLS Gen2.
• Ability to design scalable data solutions and ensure data quality.

Responsibilities

• Understand and contribute to define solutions for the Data Management & Analytics Team.

KEY SKILL AREAS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Microsoft Azure Data platform with

Good understanding of ETL Processes and data warehousing concepts.

Good hands-on Databricks, Data Factory, Pyspark, MS SQL and ADLS (Gen-2).

Design Patterns, Design Principles and Functional Patterns .

Knowledge on Developing scalable and reusable frameworks for ingesting and enhancing datasets.

Good analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve the issues in timebound manner.

Ensure data quality and accuracy through testing and validation.

Good to have:- Experience on Azure DevOps, understanding of build and release pipeline will be added advantage.

Experience on Power BI will be added advantage.
