Job summary

NetWeb Software in Vadodara is seeking an experienced back-end developer to build scalable APIs using .NET Core and C#. You will work with MSSQL databases, optimize queries, and support integration with external systems.

You will collaborate with frontend teams and contribute to catalog, cart, checkout, orders, quotes, and notification modules while maintaining secure and robust backend services.

Qualifications

• Proficient in backend development with .NET Core and API design.
• Strong in C# programming and relational databases.
• Experience with MSSQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with EF Core, ADO.NET, or Dapper for data access.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization, preferably JWT-based security.
• Ability to work with complex database schemas and external APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and APIs using .NET Core.
• Work with existing MSSQL database and related workflows.
• Support frontend React team with API requirements.
• Implement catalog, cart, checkout, orders, quotes, approvals, and notifications logic.
• Optimize queries, stored procedures, and backend performance.
• Support integration points with existing systems.
• Maintain clean, scalable, and secure backend code.
• Participate in technical analysis and modernization planning.

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in .NET Core /ASP.NET Core
• Strong C# programming knowledge
• Good experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong understanding of database design, stored procedures, queries, indexes, and performance tuning
• Experience with Entity Framework Core / ADO.NET / Dapper
• Good understanding of authentication and authorization, preferably JWT‑based security
• Ability to work with existing database structures and business logic
• Experience in integration with third‑party systems or external APIs
• Good debugging, troubleshooting, and code optimization skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in enterprise application modernization
• Experience working with legacy systems and gradual modernization
• Exposure to eCommerce, procurement, order management, quote management, approval workflows, or catalog systems
• Knowledge of caching, logging, background jobs, and API performance optimization
• Experience with Azure or cloud deployment will be an added advantage
