Job summary

ABB Energy Industries zoekt een gedreven software-ingenieur voor MES-projecten in de energiesector. Je ontwerpt, ontwikkelt en test MES-oplossingen op het ABB Ability-platform en biedt technische ondersteuning bij installatie en commissioning. Je beheert klantvereisten en werkt in een hybride werkomgeving in Bangalore.

De rol vereist ervaring met ASP.NET MVC/WEB API, AngularJS en MS SQL, en een sterke analytische aanpak om problemen te achterhalen en op te lossen.

Qualifications

• 3–7 jaar ervaring in ontwerp en implementatie van webgebaseerde applicaties.
• Sterke kennis van MVC/ASP.NET en RESTful API's.
• Ervaring met AngularJS en SQL-databases.
• Ervaring met SDLC/Agile-methodologieën.
• Analytisch vermogen om root cause te achterhalen.

Responsibilities

• Verzorgen van technische ondersteuning bij installatie en inbedrijfstelling.

Deze functie rapporteert aan: Digital Delivery Manager – MES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and enhance the software components in the assigned Software Engineering function in one or more of platform and application management. Each day, you provide accurate project schedule estimates and ensures their successful completion within the deadline. You will also showcase your expertise by demonstrating good proficiency in software engineering in their own area of competence.

The work model for the role is # LI - Hybrid.

This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India You will be mainly accountable for:

• Deliver software solutions for MES (Manufacturing Execution System) projects in the energy industry, Specialty Chemicals, Batch process manufacturing.
• Design, Develop, Test MES software solution based on ABB Ability platform.
• Provides technical support for installation and commissioning activities.
• Understanding of customer technical specification documents and preparing estimates and solutions based on ABB Ability platform.
• Development of solution design specifications and test procedures.
• Shares best practices Lessons-Learned documentation across different projects and disciplines.
• Develop standard processes and tools for productivity and quality improvement You will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

• 3 - 7 years of experience in design and implementation of web-based applications in Microsoft Visual Studio .Net IDE using ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET WEB API.
• MS SQL database stored procedures, queries and Strong Knowledge of OOP’s Concepts.
• Experience in developing the MVC applications using AngularJS and Experience in SLDC , Agile methodology for software development
• Good Analytical Skills to find the Root cause and solve the problem
• Function domain experience in Manufacturing execution system, Material management, Equipment Tracking, Scheduling will be added advantage.
• Bachelor/Master in Electronics or computers /IT from reputed university.
