Job summary

Comviva is seeking a skilled Java backend developer to develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. The role involves building REST APIs and microservices, writing clean, scalable code, and ensuring quality through unit and integration tests.

You will work with relational databases, integrate with external systems and payment gateways, and collaborate with QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to support deployments and releases.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java 17/21 and Spring Boot with microservices architecture.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems.
• Strong SQL knowledge and relational database design fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven and unit/integration testing.
• Understanding SDLC and Agile methodologies; good communication skills.
