GlobalLogic is seeking a detail-oriented Software Engineer to design and maintain web scrapers that automate browser interactions and extract pricing data for large-scale intelligence projects. You will work with JavaScript, HTML/CSS selectors and DOM analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and timely delivery.

The role also involves using Jira/Slack for project coordination and contributing to ongoing professional development within a supportive GlobalLogic

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in web scraping or browser automation.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS selectors, APIs.
• Good understanding of DOM structure and browser dev tools.
• Experience in developing and maintaining scripts that extract structured data.
• Analytical mindset with strong fault-finding and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration.
• Self-driven, quick learner able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience using Jira, Slack, or Google Chat for collaboration.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web scrapers that automate browser interactions, extract accurate pricing data, and ensure high-quality data delivery for large-scale web intelligence and content verification projects.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in web scraping, web crawling, or browser automation.
• Core Skills: Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS Selectors, API Calls, Web Crawling, and Data Extraction.
• Web Technologies: Good understanding of DOM structure, browser developer tools, XPath/CSS Selectors, and browser automation concepts.
• Automation: Experience in developing and maintaining scripts that automate browser actions and extract structured data.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Work Style: Quick learner, self-driven, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
