GlobalLogic is seeking a detail-oriented Software Engineer to develop and maintain web scrapers that automate browser interactions and extract pricing data for large-scale web intelligence projects.

You will work with JavaScript, HTML, CSS selectors, and API calls to ensure data accuracy and quality, collaborating across teams in a fast-paced, global environment. A strong problem-solving mindset and self-driven work style are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on web scraping experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS selectors, APIs, and data extraction.
• Familiar with DOM structures, browser dev tools, XPath or CSS selectors.
• Experience automating browser actions and extracting structured data.
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborate across teams.

• Verify accuracy and completeness of extracted data by cross-checking sources.

GlobalLogic is looking for a detail-oriented Software Engineer with strong expertise in web technologies, scripting, and data extraction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web scrapers that automate browser interactions, extract accurate pricing data, and ensure high-quality data delivery for large-scale web intelligence and content verification projects.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in web scraping, web crawling, or browser automation.
• Core Skills: Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS Selectors, API Calls, Web Crawling, and Data Extraction.
• Web Technologies: Good understanding of DOM structure, browser developer tools, XPath/CSS Selectors, and browser automation concepts.
• Automation: Experience in developing and maintaining scripts that automate browser actions and extract structured data.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Work Style: Quick learner, self-driven, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Collaboration Tools: Experience working with project collaboration and communication platforms such as Jira, Slack, Google Chat, or similar tools.

• Scraper Development: Build, maintain, and enhance web scrapers that automate browser interactions and extract hotel pricing information.
• Data Validation: Verify the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of extracted information by comparing data across multiple web sources.
• Content Verification: Ensure extracted content meets project-specific quality standards and accurately reflects the source information.
• Bug Fixing & Maintenance: Resolve client-reported issues and maintain the bug backlog based on priority and project requirements.
• Project Delivery: Deliver project data within defined timelines while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Collaboration: Participate in project discussions, communicate progress, and contribute actively on project forums.
• Problem Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues with a creative and solution-oriented approach.
• Continuous Improvement: Learn new tools, technologies, and processes to improve scraper performance, reliability, and data quality.
