Job summary

Grab in Bengaluru is seeking experienced iOS Engineers to contribute to the PaySDK and multiple app clients ( passenger, driver, merchant). You will work with SwiftUI, RxSwift, and modern architecture to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.

Reporting to Engineering Manager II, the role emphasizes architectural integrity, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and staying current with iOS trends. On-site role based in Bangalore with a focus on scalable, reliable apps.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of iOS development experience.
• Fluent in Swift programming language; understanding of OOP, TDD, reactive programming, and dependency injection.
• Working knowledge of MVVM or VIPER architectures.
• Experience writing maintainable and testable code, including API design, unit testing, and UI testing techniques.
• Experience maintaining apps with a large user base via crash analytics, remote debugging, and CI.

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic iOS Engineers to join our team. You\'ll have the chance to contribute to the PaySDK, and multiple app clients like passenger, driver and merchant apps. Identifying problems and having the initiative and skills to solve them is crucial in this role Our team operates with advanced technologies like SwiftUI and RxSwift programming. We prioritise architectural integrity and welcome developers\' suggestions for new mobile approaches and technologies, while also emphasising their main components within the team. You will be reporting to Engineering Manager II. We offer a on-site role and bases it in Bangalore.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform:

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform: You will develop iOS applications, ensuring high quality and delivery of projects You will collaborate with teams to Identify project requirements and develop solutions that meet our needs. You will develop technical documentation, including code comments, architecture diagrams, and technical guides. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, using debugging tools and techniques to identify and fix problems. You will stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends and tools, and apply this knowledge to improve development processes and product quality

The Essential Skills You Will Need:

2+ years of iOS development experience.

Fluent in Swift programming language. Understanding of programming paradigms such as OOP, TDD, reactive programming, and dependency injection.

Working knowledge of several architectural approaches including clean architecture like MVVM or VIPER.

Experience writing maintainable and testable code, including API design, unit testing, and UI testing techniques.

Experience mataining applications with a high user base by crash analytics, remote debugging, and continuous integration. Accountable and takes ownership of one\'s own work.
