Wayfair is seeking an Software Engineer - Intern (AI-First & GenAI Focus) in Bengaluru, IN. The role involves contributing to AI-driven software, data systems, and GenAI workflows across multiple domains within Wayfair’s engineering groups.

Eligible candidates are completing the 7th semester of a CS degree, with a strong interest in AI and cloud-enabled software development. This internship offers exposure to modern tech stacks and GenAI tooling within a large e-commerce platform.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the 7th semester of a full-time B.E./B.Tech program in Computer Science and available for internship during their 8th semester.
• Strong academic track record with a passion for emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and software engineering.
• Exposure to or experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
• Familiarity with full-stack, mobile, or cloud development, as well as web technologies (SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Python).
• Enthusiasm for leveraging GenAI tools i.e. building high-quality software by integrating AI-assisted tools and GenAI workflows throughout the entire development lifecycle—from design and code generation to automated testing and deployment.
• Strong autonomy, problem-solving ability, ownership mindset, and excellent communication skills.

Software Engineer - Intern (AI-First & GenAI Focus)
