Job summary

Candescent is hiring a Software Engineer III to own Android and React Native development for its Digital Banking mobile products in Bengaluru.

You will architect, build, and optimize cross-platform apps for iOS and Android within an Agile team, employing React Native, Java/Kotlin and modern mobile tooling. The role demands strong problem-solving, collaboration, and a passion for delivering scalable software.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ Years in IT Industry with 2+ years of experience in building and delivering apps using React Native.
• Minimum 4+ year of experience in Android, SDK, Java, Kotlin
• Expert in analyzing, designing, implementing, and troubleshooting mobile applications for highly transactional systems.
• Expert in mobile software development using React Native, Swift/Kotlin, Objective C, Xcode/Android Studio & Git.
• Languages: - JavaScript, React JS, HTML, CSS ,Swift/Kotlin, Objective C/Java
• Experience in building React Native plugins
• Solid working knowledge on Redux, React, Expo and Jest.
• Strong Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking.
• Proficient with Agile software development life cycle.
• Experience with REST APIs, XML & JSON.
• Experience in writing unit test cases
• Experience with Agile development methodology.
• Excellent communication and team player with can-do attitude.

Candescent is looking for a highly talented Mobile Software Android and react native Engineer to develop cross platform mobile applications for its Digital Banking division. You will be responsible for full life cycle development using mobile development frameworks & technologies in Agile environment.

We are looking for a mobile react native developer who will be developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using the React Native framework, with responsibilities including architecting, building, and optimizing apps for both iOS and Android
