Job summary

FC Global Services India LLP (First Citizens India) in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Software Engineer II - Pega developer to join the Technology and Deposits & Shared SVCS teams. The role focuses on the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale workflow within Pega Platform, with hybrid work arrangement.

The candidate will contribute across the SDLC, leveraging Pega PRPC, Java, and integration skills, while providing 24/7 on-call support for critical Production issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 5+ years in software development.
• Hands-on experience with Pega PRPC, banking/insurance frameworks.
• Proficient in Java, J2EE, XML, EJB and web tech (HTML/CSS/JS).
• Experience with REST APIs and integration patterns (Kafka, JMS, SOAP).
• Pega AI features and BPM experience are a plus.

Key Deliverables

• System Enhancement – Performs a variety of actions that evaluate and improve department systems, processes, and applications. Utilizes programming specifications to construct modules, develop testing methods, and design materials. Provides new feature time estimates for system changes and assists in implementing modifications.
• Business Support – Provides technical support to production systems by addressing reported issues, anticipating maintenance requirements, and ensuring functionality for end user needs. Drafts documentation to be used for system, end user, and operational purposes, including technical specifications and application designs.
• Technical Expertise – Responsible for involvement in the software development life cycle including the creation, enhancement, implementation, and evaluation of software. Serves as a technical resource for management, associates, and business units. Provides 24/7 support during on‑call rotations for critical Production issues.

Skills and Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance
• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Preferred Area of Study: Computer Science
• Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification
• At least 3 years of experience in in depth hand’s on application development experience in Pega PRPC v6.x/v7.x and Pega banking/Insurance frameworks
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Pega AI, including GenAI, Knowledge Buddy, Agentic AI, and AI‑powered workflow capabilities.
• Experience in Pega Infinity architecture, Case Management, Decisioning, and BPM.
• Experience integrating Pega with enterprise applications using REST APIs, Kafka, JMS, SOAP, and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, and EJB
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ability to debug and develop rules like Data Transforms and declarative rules, class structures, and application frameworks within Pega

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Banking and Finance Industry
• Experience with Okta; SQL Scripting.
• Experience with ServiceNow or other information technology ticketing system
• Ability to build strong collaborative and productive relationships
• In‑depth knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodology (Waterfall and Agile)
• Basic knowledge in Splunk
