The Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Node.js Backend Developer with extensive experience in developing backend services and APIs, managing databases like MySQL, SQL Server and MongoDB, and experience with microservices architecture (must). Experience with any public cloud (Azure preferred) is an added advantage. The role will be focused mainly on designing & building enterprise‑grade commercial SaaS products utilizing all the latest cloud‑native tools & technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Shows appetite and attitude for owning responsibility of technical decisions and direction for one or many projects.
• Technical feasibility analysis, research & development on Node.js technology related requirements.
• Develop secured and robust Node.js Core Web APIs following Microservice Architecture.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimizing and code refactoring for good performance.
• Individual contributor and independent thinker who can work without or with very little supervision.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Educational Requirements / Experience:

• B.Tech/MCA from a reputed institute/University.
• Candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Knowledge:

• Hands‑on experience and proficiency working with microservices.
• Hands‑on experience and proficiency in test‑driven development utilizing XUnit/NUnit.
• Advanced knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and other related frameworks with at least 5 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong experience in MySQL, SQL Server database design, optimization, and complex query execution.
• Hands‑on experience with MongoDB (NoSQL), with a solid understanding of NoSQL database principles and performance optimization.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI for automating testing and deployments.
• Deep understanding of Git, including branching, merging, pull requests, and maintaining Git repositories.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest, or Chai.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Beneficial to have experience on No‑SQL databases (Azure Cosmos Document and Graph DB preferred).
• Beneficial to have understanding on design patterns.
