Job summary

Guidewire Software's InsuranceNow team in Bengaluru is seeking a Software Engineer to help deliver secure, scalable insurance solutions. You'll work onsite in Bangalore on the InsuranceNow product development, collaborating across product management, QA, operations, and domain experts.

You will write code, tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, while focusing on security and reliability. Prior insurance experience not required; strong Java and SQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience with Java and object-oriented programming.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Unit Testing, and related engineering practices.
• Cloud services knowledge (e.g., AWS) is a huge plus.
• Understanding of Single-Sign-On (SSO), SAML, and authentication/authorization concepts is a big plus.

InsuranceNow is an all-in-one core, data analytics, and digital engagement system providing comprehensive insurance business functionality. We are expanding InsuranceNow product development to Bangalore, and as part of this expansion, we are looking for an engineer who will play a significant role in enhancing the product s scope.
