Job summary

What We're Looking For:

AI proficient experienced Software Engineer to lead the testing efforts for our monthly LifeGuard releases.

We are seeking an AI proficient experienced Software Engineer to lead the testing efforts for our EMC product releases. In this role, you will own the end-to-end quality assurance strategy for a complex system that spans hardware and mobile platforms. You will lead the QA lifecycle for our monthly LG releases. In this role you will drive the adoption of modern AI testing tools to accelerate the test cases and test strategy generation. This role requires a strong technical background in software testing, particularly for Android based systems, as well as experience with Python and Keyword-Driven Development (KDD) frameworks like Robot Framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of test engineers, executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for our Android based devices. This is a hands‑on role that requires a strong technical background in software testing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high‑quality products. The candidate should have experience with end-to-end solution testing, interoperability testing, benchmarking, and performance‑related testing to ensure robust and high performing devices.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure comprehensive coverage for functional, performance, interoperability, and benchmarking tests.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including developers, product managers, and program managers, to ensure that testing is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives in the test process, tools, and methodologies.
• Explore and integrate Generative AI tools to enhance test case generation and test strategy.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Qualifications

• BE/B. Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with end to end solution testing, interoperability testing, benchmarking, and performance related testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across business units and align stakeholders on testing strategies.
• Experience with Generative AI tools for test development.
• Candidate must be based out in Bangalore location only.
