Job summary

Precisely is seeking a Software Engineer II with strong Golang expertise to design, build, and scale the Foundation Platform services. You will work on highly available distributed systems across DI Suite products, partnering with Architecture, Security, AI Platform, and Product Engineering teams.

The role requires 3+ years of backend Go experience, familiarity with Node.js and React.js, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field from a reputable institution.
• At least 3 years of Golang backend development experience.
• Familiarity with Node.js and React.js is a plus.
• Good understanding of design patterns and core concepts and hands-on experience to apply them.
• Understanding and experience with databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and microservices architecture is highly desirable.
• Basic understanding of agile and scrum methodologies is a must.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Redis, Datadog, Codefresh, and Terraform is a plus.

• End to end technical ownership of Product features.
• Evaluate, learn, and incorporate new technologies into new and existing frameworks and solutions as applicable.
• Participate / own technical designs, constructively propose and receive feedback for solutions.
• Collaborate with other team members and cross-functional teams as required.
• Improve code quality and address Non-Functional Requirements like performance, scalability, reliability.
• Collaborate with team members to address internal and external customer issues promptly and effectively.

Overview:

We are seeking a Software Engineer II with strong Golang expertise to help design, build, and scale the next generation of Foundation Platform services. You will work on highly available distributed systems used across all DI Suite products while partnering closely with Architecture, Security, AI Platform, and Product Engineering team. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with platform thinking, operational excellence, technical challenges and a passion for building reusable services at enterprise scale.

• Design & Development shared platform capabilities in Golang services.

What we are looking for:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related technical field from a reputable institution.
• Atleast 3 years experiencein Golang for backend development is a must.
• Familiarity with frontend scripting languages such as Node.js and React.js is a plus.
• Good understanding of Design Patterns & core concept and hands on experience to apply them in day to day design.
• Understanding and experience with databases like MongoDB, Postgres.
• Exposure to cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and microservices architecture is highly desirable.
• Basic understanding of agile and scrum methodologies is a must.
• Experience of AWS/Azure/GCP, Redis, Security Domain, Datadog, Codefresh, hands on Terraform is a plus

AI Skills:

• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and their integration into production software.
• Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
• Ability to evaluate, integrate, and iterate on AI-powered features within a production codebase.

Preferred Skills (a plus but not required):

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) including serverless or containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Prior experience working in a product-led or SaaS company environment.
