Job summary

Sandvik Coromant is seeking a Software Engineer II/III focused on integrating Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions to support Mastercam's digital transformation. Based in Pune, you will design, develop, and maintain API-led integrations across enterprise systems.

You will participate in Agile teams, craft OpenAPI specs, review code, and help scale integration patterns while aligning with Sandvik's compliance and business processes as the acquisition integration proceeds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Mulesoft and/or Salesforce certification a plus.
• 4-5 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integrations and APIs using MuleSoft and Salesforce platforms.
• Proficiency with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API design, implementation, orchestration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience creating and maintaining OpenAPI specifications and interactive API documentation using Swagger and Scalar.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, data modeling, and scalable integration patterns.
• Experience with modern software development practices, including source control, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Experience working within Agile development teams and delivering integration solutions in iterative release cycles.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud/CPQ, and related ecosystem integrations.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools or automation to improve productivity and operational effectiveness, or a demonstrated ability to rapidly learn, evaluate, and apply such technologies at scale.

This role will focus on integrating an acquired company (to be acquired) to Mastercam per Sandviks and Mastercams program and processes - from a compliance and financial controls perspective.

As the integration work will go down over time, the role is expected to take broader BA wide responsibilities e.g. under the common Sandvik compliance program (and also locally for the Hub and our other local business).
