Job summary

At N-able, we are redefining cyber resilience with an end-to-end platform. We’re looking for a backend engineer to design, implement, test, and deploy scalable services in AWS, and to contribute to a culture of quality through code reviews and mentorship.

You will collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure reliable delivery, while writing maintainable code with strong test coverage and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of total software development experience.
• Preferred AWS experience.
• Proficiency in Java or Golang; strong data structures & algorithms.
• Knowledge of Python, Ruby, or Go.
• Experience with Go testing tools and API testing frameworks.
• Experience with integration testing tools and mocking frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs in AWS.
• Participate in test automation (unit, integration, API, and end-to-end).
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and performance tuning.

• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring reliability and uptime.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• 4+ years of total software development experience.
• Preferred Experience/Knowledge in AWS
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in any programming language (Java or Golang), Data structure and Algorithm
• Knowledge on Python or ruby or Go (Preferred)
• Knowledge in test automation frameworks such as:Go testing tools (e.g., testing, testify, Ginkgo, GoMock)
• API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
• Integration testing tools and mocking frameworks
