Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Hyderabad site is seeking a Scrum Master I to lead agile delivery for Commercialization Content Capabilities. You will facilitate ceremonies, manage backlogs, and remove impediments while coordinating with cross-functional teams and product owners across global sites.

The role requires 3+ years as a scrum master, strong communication, and experience with cloud technologies. You will work in a fast-paced environment and mentor the team to continuously improve agile practices

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven working experience as a scrum master or as an agile Project Manager
• Hands on experience in managing, timelines, issue, risks is a must.
• 1-2 years of technology product development exposure is preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data technologies on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform would be a plus.
• Must also have a strong attention to detail and be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Facilitating agile processes for the development team, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Managing the product backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date and prioritized based on stakeholder needs and requirements.
• Removing impediments that may prevent the development team from completing their work on time and within budget.
• Facilitating communication and collaboration between the development team, stakeholders, and product owners to align on goals and timelines.
• Managing risks and proactively communicating them to stakeholders.
• Coaching and mentoring the team on agile methodologies and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
• Tracking project performance metrics, including velocity, burn-down rate, and team capacity.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
• Provides strategic feedback to vendors on service delivery and balances workload with vendor teams.
• Leads in analyzing current states, delivering strong recommendations to understand environment complexity and execute complex solutions to completion.

Position Summary

As a Scrum Master I for the Commercialization Content Capabilities team based out of our BMS Hyderabad you are part of the Commercialization IT team that builds best in class marketing solutions to help our customers with the capabilities that help accelerate the solutions for marketers to use. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing the agile development process of products by facilitating communication and collaboration between the development team, stakeholders, and product owners. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure that marketing tool / products are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitating agile processes: Facilitating agile processes for the development team, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Managing the backlog: Managing the product backlog, ensuring that it is up-to-date and prioritized based on stakeholder needs and requirements.

• Coaching and mentoring: Coaching and mentoring the development team on agile methodologies and best practices to ensure that they are continuously improving their skills and knowledge.
• Performance tracking: Tracking project performance metrics, including velocity, burn-down rate, and team capacity, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Prior experience working in an Agile/Product based environment
• Provides strategic feedback to vendors on service delivery and balances workload with vendor teams
