Naukri Assist is seeking a Software Engineer (HL7 Interface Engineer) to support the development, configuration, and testing of HL7 interfaces for integration with EMR, PACS, and hospital systems.
You will validate HL7 messages, map and troubleshoot ADT/ORM/ORU workflows, configure interfaces with Rhapsody, Corepoint or Mirth Connect, perform interface testing, monitor data exchange, and support go-live and hypercare activities while collaborating with global teams.

Software Engineer (HL7 Interface Engineer)
Your role:
Support development, configuration, and testing of HL7 interfaces for integration with EMR, PACS, and hospital systems
Assist in HL7 message validation, mapping, and troubleshooting (ADT, ORM, ORU workflows)
Configure and monitor interfaces using tools such as Rhapsody, Corepoint, Mirth Connect, or similar integration engines
Perform interface testing and issue resolution, ensuring reliable data exchange across systems
Support end-to-end implementation activities including build, testing, go-live, and hypercare phases
Collaborate with global implementation, application, and integration teams for smooth delivery
Monitor interfaces and resolve data flow and connectivity issues
Maintain documentation for configurations, testing, and issue tracking
You're the right fit if:
Experience: 25 years in healthcare IT, integration support, or application support roles
HL7 & Integration Skills: Understanding of HL7 v2 messaging, interface workflows, and healthcare interoperability concepts (mandatory)
Technical Skills: Familiarity with SQL/databases, and exposure to integration tools (Rhapsody, Mirth Connect or similar HL7 integration engines like Corepoint, Intersystems, Openlink), JavaScript(Mandatory)
Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Experience working with EMR, PACS, HIS, or clinical systems
Learning Mindset: Willingness to work in customer-facing environments and grow in integration and implementation roles
Nice to Have: Exposure to FHIR/APIs, DICOM, scripting (Python), or cardiology/imaging workflows.
