Experience Level: 3+ years in Interface Testing, HL7, and ADT messages

We are looking for an experienced Interface Testing Engineer with expertise in HL7 messaging standards, particularly ADT (Admission, Discharge, and Transfer) messages. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and validating healthcare interfaces, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interface Testing: Perform end-to-end interface testing of healthcare applications, focusing on HL7 messages, including ADT and other message types.
• Message Validation: Validate message structure, segment order, field-level validations, and ensure compliance with HL7 standards.
• Test Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for interface validation, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Test Data Management: Design, generate, and manipulate HL7 test data for various scenarios, including positive and negative test cases.
• Automation & Tools: Utilize tools like SQA, Postman, or custom field automation frameworks for message validation and API testing.
• Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects using tools like JIRA.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, integration teams, and Product Owner analysts to troubleshoot and resolve interface-related issues.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in interface testing, especially HL7 ADT messages.
• Hands-on expertise in HL7 and FHIR.
• Good in customer facing.
• Experience with SQL queries to validate backend database transactions.
• Knowledge of web services testing (SOAP & REST APIs).
• Exposure to healthcare industry workflows and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation frameworks for interface testing, preferably Simplify QA.
• Knowledge of FHIR and CDA standards.
• HL7 certification (Preferred but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of EMR & EHR.
