Your Opportunity

As part of the Desktop Engineering Team at Whatfix, you’ll work on complex algorithms, automation APIs, system level APIs, performance engineering, and difficult optimization problems. Every problem we solve on the desktop has the potential to be a patentable idea, which is why we have many patents in our portfolio. You will be part of a team that works with C#, JavaScript, and Java, explores machine learning, and builds solutions that are used by many customers.

Your Qualifications

• An engineering degree (BE/BTech/MTech) in Computer Science.
• 8+ years of experience writing code and solving technical challenges.

Must‑Have

• Software Engineer at E6 level with strong knowledge of C# and good experience with JavaScript.
• Familiarity with building desktop applications is a bonus.
• Hands‑on experience building SaaS applications using Java, C# or JavaScript.
• Experience in SaaS companies, products, or startups.
• Testing developed features by writing unit tests and debugging QA issues, owning the entire SDLC of a feature or product.
• Writing reusable code following MVC pattern and SOLID principles.
• Collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams (product management, UX/UI designers) to ensure timely delivery without compromising quality.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, design patterns, system design and architectural principles.
• Ensuring quality assurance throughout all phases from conception to deployment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fast learner and team player.

Good to Have

• Experience with ReactJS, Swift, or Objective‑C.
