Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Pune seeks a senior technologist at vice president level to join the global One Touch team, overseeing the Equities Strategic Order Management platform.

The role focuses on building out the OMS platform and its microservices layer, delivering end-to-end platform capability and replacing legacy systems. You will drive a multi-year technology roadmap, work with the global technology team, ensure architecture and SDLC adherence, and accelerate the use of AI productivity tools

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in equities technology and platform delivery.
• Strong program skills in Core Java, multithreading, and low-latency architectures.
• Experience with Unix and Oracle.
• Familiarity with AI productivity toolkits and modern SDLC practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with budget constraints and business value.

Equities Technology organization is looking for a senior technologist to join the global One Touch team (Equities Strategic Order Management platform). This is a vice president level role located in Pune.

The person in this role will focus on the build out of the One Touch Order Management platform including its microservices layer. The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the platform and the replacement of any legacy and vendor trading systems. The objective of this multi-year initiative is to have a comprehensive and robust OMS offering with a competitive cost of ownership and low 'price per feature' to support the growth of the business.

Key responsibilities of the person in this role will include:

• Delivering on a multi-year technology roadmap in alignment with the budget constraints and in line with the business value proposition.
• Close partnership with the global technology team to maximize the value of the platform and ensure the right sequence of delivery.
• Adhere system architecture, design of key modules, SDLC, and adherence to technology standards.
• Rapid adoption of AI toolkits in line with the firm’s strategy of modernization of the development process.
• Highly automated low-cost quality assurance.
• Close collaboration with production support to ensure successful delivery and operation of the system.
• Partnership with other technology teams including Client Connectivity, Execution Services, and Risk.
• Close partnership with regulatory, compliance, and audit.
• Compute and estate management including hygiene, security, and vulnerability items.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• The candidate should possess strong analytical and technical skills
• 7+ years of experience and Strong program skills in Core Java, Multi-threading, Concurrency and low latency architecture.
• Candidate should also have a good exposure to Unix and Oracle
• Command of the latest AI productivity tools.
• Strong Engineering background and command of modern architectures and frameworks (middleware, server, document & relational databases)
• Strong command of modern Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
• Solid understanding of Equities products and services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
