Job summary

Emerson in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and implement high-quality desktop applications using C#/.NET. You will develop features, build tools to boost efficiency, and own delivery from design through release.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience.

• 5+ years hands-on with C#/.NET desktop app development.

• Facilitate decisions vital to deliver a quality product in a timely fashion.
• Define and prioritize tasks for the team and leverage resources to complete tasks on time.
• Review code and design of junior engineers and provide high-quality feedback.
• Involve in testing activities and write unit tests for the features.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MCA in Computer Science/ Electronics and Communications / Telecommunication / Electrical / Instrumentation
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability in problem-solving, effectively diagnosing technical issues and proposing reasonable solutions.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience and proficiency in C#, .net in desktop application development.
• Strong understanding and experience of software design principles.
• Experience with Linux operating systems is desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices and continuous integration pipelines is preferred.
