Job summary

Emerson in Pune is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.js. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive technical design, and apply SOLID principles in an Agile environment.

You will use AI-powered development tools, participate across the full SDLC, and contribute to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/ENG.
• 8–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with enterprise-scale apps using JavaScript/TypeScript and C#/.NET.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools.

Responsibilities

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using modern engineering practices and Agile methodologies.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.js.
• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level software applications.
• Experience using AI-powered software development and productivity tools.
• Working knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and software architecture concepts.
• Experience working across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) within Agile development environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Approximately 8 to 10 years of relevant software engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience within the Industrial Automation domain.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with front-end development tools and libraries such as npm, webpack, and Material UI.
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications.
• Exposure to modern DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous delivery workflows.
