Job summary

Vestas India is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and operate cloud-native data platforms and streaming solutions. You will collaborate with software and platform engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable data products in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, deploying on Kubernetes, and monitoring health with Grafana/Prometheus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Similar specialization
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure Operations
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD implementations
• Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Experience working with modern data platforms and data warehousing technologies, Snowflake
• Experience with streaming technologies and event-driven architectures, Confluent Kafka
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure Services and Azure DevOps
• Solid communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
• Collaborative and receptive to new ideas, with the ability to work effectively across teams and disciplines
• Curious and committed to building scalable and innovative data solutions

• Collaborate with platform teams on architecture, scalability, security, and operational excellence
• Contribute to automation and infrastructure improvements that enhance platform reliability and developer productivity
• Support platform users and stakeholders with data ingestion, processing, and analytics workloads

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and operation of cloud-native data platforms and streaming solutions.
