Job summary

Kott Software is seeking skilled Software Developers to join our enterprise product team in Kerala. You will contribute to product development, AI-powered initiatives, and modernization of our business applications in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of software application development using Microsoft technologies.
• Hands-on ASP.NET Core and C# development experience.
• Experience with Blazor; React/Angular/Vue.js acceptable as alternative.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration services.
• Hands-on with distributed systems and Azure Service Bus.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Bootstrap.
• Strong OO design, principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with Azure AI / OpenAI platforms is a plus.
• Git-based source control proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise software applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, and Blazor in an Agile product development environment.
• Participate in the design and development of AI-enabled features and intelligent business solutions.
• Contribute to application modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy platforms to modern .NET technologies.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs, integration services, and scalable cloud-ready solutions.
• Understand business requirements and application workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective solutions.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Blazor and modern UI development practices.
• Adhere to coding standards, and conduct unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently.
• Participate actively in Agile development process and communicate project status and progress effectively.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-4 years of software application development experience using Microsoft technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience in ASP.NET Core and C# development.
• Experience in developing web applications using Blazor; equivalent experience in React, Angular, or Vue.js will be considered as an alternative.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration services.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, messaging patterns, and Azure Service Bus.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Strong grasp of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Experience with Azure AI, OpenAI APIs, Microsoft Copilot, or comparable AI platforms is a plus.
• Proficiency with Git-based source control systems.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Azure Cloud Services, Azure AI Services, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.
• Experience in AI-assisted workflow automation and intelligent business applications.
• Exposure to AI agents, chatbot development, or enterprise AI integrations.
• Experience with Telerik UI components for Blazor or other modern UI frameworks.
• Experience working with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or Cursor.
• Experience writing test cases using NUnit.

Education

Either BTech Computer Science/Information Technology or MTech Computer science /MCA/MSc Computer Science.
