Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. in Bengaluru is seeking a Software Engineer focused on AI-driven development to design, build, and maintain AI-enabled features for the Partner Incentives and Metrics component.

You will work on data, automation, and production reliability as part of the LIO organization within CPCCE, driving adoption of Cisco Preferred LLM and other AI tools. The role requires strong programming skills in Python/Java, experience with Snowflake, and familiarity with Agile methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field; 3+ years experience
• Proven GenAI capabilities and N-Tier architecture understanding
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java; experience with Snowflake and full-stack development
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and distributed backend systems
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitHub Copilot, automation and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communications and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• End-to-end AI solution design, development and unit testing of AI-enabled features
• Investigate and resolve bugs, performance issues, data discrepancies, and security concerns using AI tooling
• Define best practices and development scope using AI-driven processes
• Maintain and improve production AI solutions for reliability
• Collaborate with BSA and Product Owner to deliver prioritized outcomes across phases

Your Impact

As a Software Engineer focused on AI driven devlopment, you drive knowledge, delivery, and maintenance for the Partner Incentives and Metrics component—ensuring the right data, automation, and feature behavior work reliably in production.

• Part of end-to-end AI solution delivery: design, development, and unit testing for AI-enabled features using Cisco Preferred LLM, Cisco LLM, and SDLC Agents, with Copilot for Code support to accelerate implementation
• Investigate and resolve bugs, performance issues, data discrepancies, and security concerns—using AI to minimize development lifecycle impact
• Define best practices and determine development scope using AI-driven processes
• Maintain and improve production AI solutions to ensure reliability and long-term maintainability
• Collaborate tightly with BSA and the Product Owner to deliver prioritized outcomes through the Solution and Execution phases of the Ops Mode

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's 3+ years of professional experience , Master's degree 2+years of professional experience in Computer Science, AI/ML Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven understanding of GenAI capabilities and N-Tier architectural concepts, Harness Engineering and how they influence code-design-test-deploy.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Snowflake, Full Stack.
• Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in building distributed backend systems with Snowflake
• Experience with development and infrastructure tools including Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitHub copilot, Automation, BOTs/Agents and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid communications and organizational skills, and ability to work successfully in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
