Job summary

WIN is seeking experienced Software Engineers to design and build AI-powered digital platforms. You will create scalable backend services, integrate diverse systems, and develop intelligent workflows that automate business processes using Python, REST APIs, and modern cloud tools.

You will collaborate with product and tech teams across the US and India, contributing to the evolving digital ecosystem and long-term technology strategy in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years hands-on software engineering with Python and backend APIs/ integrations.
• Experience deploying AI/LLM-powered apps, agentic workflows, or AI-driven automation.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and systems integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), databases, SQL, and modern dev practices.
• Ability to own technical deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

ABOUT THE ROLE

WIN is seeking highly skilled, hands‑on Software Engineers to help build innovative digital applications, AI‑powered solutions, and scalable technology platforms.

WIN is investing heavily in agentic AI, intelligent automation, and advanced digital platforms to transform how customers access home services and how service professionals deliver them across the $700 billion U.S. home services industry.

In this role, you will design and develop software applications, connect internal and external systems, and build intelligent workflows that automate complex business processes. You will work with emerging AI technologies while also contributing to the development of new products and platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Build software applications and platforms: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications, APIs, and services that power WIN's existing and emerging digital products.
• Develop agentic AI capabilities: Build and enhance intelligent AI agents and automated workflows that can interact with systems, retrieve information, make decisions within defined parameters, and execute actions to complete business processes.
• Integrate systems and technologies: Develop robust integrations connecting internal applications, third‑party platforms, AI services, and external tools using Python, REST APIs, webhooks, MCP, and other integration technologies.
• Engineer and optimize AI workflows: Integrate and orchestrate LLMs, AI agents, and external services, including evaluating and switching between AI models and providers to improve accuracy, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure reliability and scalability: Build, test, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications and integrations. Implement appropriate safeguards, error handling, and automated testing to ensure secure, dependable performance.
• Translate business needs into technology solutions: Collaborate with product, technology, and business teams to understand requirements, design technical solutions, and independently deliver working applications and capabilities.
• Support innovation and product development: Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, contribute to technical architecture, and develop new capabilities that support WIN's expanding digital ecosystem and long‑term technology strategy.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Python and a proven track record of developing backend applications, APIs, and integrations.
• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying AI/LLM‑powered applications, including agentic workflows, tool calling, or AI‑driven automation that interacts with external systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and system integration.
• Practical experience working with LLM APIs, integrating AI models into applications, and developing workflows that connect AI capabilities with business systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, databases, SQL, version control, and modern software development and deployment practices.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities, with demonstrated experience building, testing, and maintaining reliable production applications.
• Ability to independently own technical deliverables, adapt to emerging technologies, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol), AI agent frameworks, or similar tool‑integration architectures.
• Experience building conversational AI, voice AI, or real‑time automation solutions.
• Familiarity with FastAPI, asynchronous programming, microservices, or event‑driven architectures.
• Experience with LLM orchestration, RAG, AI evaluation, and performance optimization.
• Experience developing customer‑facing digital products or platforms connecting multiple services, users, or systems.
