We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to application development, customer support, and production issue resolution. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, solving, and improving enterprise applications built using Java and Spring Boot-based microservices architecture.
The role requires close collaboration with customers, business users, development teams, and support teams to investigate issues, provide timely resolutions, and deliver high-quality software solutions. Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and support business-critical applications.
Develop, maintain, and improve applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
Investigate, fix, and resolve production issues within defined SLA timelines.
Support for customer-reported incidents and service requests.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
Work closely with business users and customers to understand requirements and resolve technical issues.
Support application deployments and release activities.
Supervise application performance and find opportunities for improvements.
Collaborate with QA, and other multi-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
Build and maintain technical documentation, fixing guides, and knowledge base articles.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Java application development, support, and maintenance.
2+ years of experience in Java application development and support.
Proven understanding of Java programming.
Hands‑on experience or academic knowledge of Spring Boot.
Understanding of Microservices Architecture and REST API development.
Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL).
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or similar version control systems.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Basic knowledge of application deployment and support processes.
Strong customer‑focus and support approach.
Excellent analytical and fixing abilities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong ownership and accountability for issue resolution.
Willingness to learn new technologies and business processes.
