Emerson Electric Co in Pune is seeking a test engineer to validate software for industrial communications. You will test HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, PROFIBUS and Modbus protocols with DeltaV/AMS System, and ensure eDD usability with HH475.

You will write test plans, log issues, and communicate test metrics to the lead. The role demands quick learning, strong analytical skills, and solid written communication to ensure robust field device integration.

Competenze

• Knowledge/ Experience of process field devices like Flow, Level, Temperature, Pressure and Final Control devices like Control Valve.
• Knowledge/ Experience of Industrial Communication protocol like HART, Foundation Fieldbus, PROFIBUS and Modbus
• Knowledge/ Experience of AMS/HH475 or Distributed Control System (DeltaV)
• Good Written and Communication Skills
• Good Analytical and Problem solving ability
• Quick learner

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Software testing of HART, FF and PROFIBUS communication protocol supported eDD for Usability aspect using DeltaV/AMS System and HH475
• Software testingof HART , FF and PROFIBUS based field device integration with DeltaV/AMS System
• Write Test plan, log issues in issue database
• Communicate Test metrics and status to lead at periodic interval
