Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Zuora Developer with expertise in Zuora Billing, Zuora Payments, and subscription billing solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise‑grade billing and payment solutions. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, leading integrations, optimizing payment operations, and ensuring seamless subscription lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and support Zuora Billing, Zuora Payments, and Collections modules.
• Design and optimize subscription billing models, invoicing, recurring billing, and payment schedules.
• Manage payment runs, refunds, chargebacks, write-offs, reconciliations, and collections processes.
• Support subscription lifecycle activities including renewals, amendments, upgrades, and cancellations.
• Configure payment methods, automated payment processing, and collection workflows.

Solution Design & Development

• Design and implement scalable Zuora Billing and Payment solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze billing, payment, and revenue requirements.
• Review technical designs, solution architecture, and implementation strategies.
• Develop custom solutions and workflow automation to improve billing efficiency.
• Follow best practices for subscription management and payment operations.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Zuora and enterprise applications such as Salesforce, ERP, CRM, and payment gateways.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and middleware platforms.
• Configure and troubleshoot payment gateway integrations including CyberSource, Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, and Authorize.Net.
• Support data migration, system enhancements, and enterprise integration initiatives.

Operations & Support

• Monitor payment processing and resolve billing and payment-related issues.
• Perform production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve payment success rates and optimize billing operations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Zuora Billing and Zuora Payments.
• Good understanding of subscription management and recurring billing models.
• Experience in payment processing, collections, refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Zuora workflows, object model, and configuration.
• Experience integrating Zuora with Salesforce, ERP, CRM, and payment gateway platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and middleware integrations.
• Familiarity with payment gateways such as PayPal, Stripe, CyberSource, Adyen, and Authorize.Net.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes.
• Experience in production support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise billing and revenue operations.
• Knowledge of workflow automation and data migration.
• Understanding of financial systems and ERP integrations.
• Exposure to cloud‑based SaaS subscription platforms.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
