Job summary

NCR Atleos, a global technology leader headquartered in Atlanta, seeks software engineers to design, develop and deploy high-quality software solutions. You will integrate AI/ML capabilities via APIs, participate in Agile teams, and contribute to documentation and training materials.

Ideal candidates have experience in object-oriented development, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of Windows environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with software design, development and deployment, object-oriented software development.
• Practical experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into software using APIs or libraries (LLMs, ML services, or SDKs).
• Produce high quality software solutions.
• Experience with Agile development environment and familiarity with Agile principles.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, AI limitations, and responsible use (bias, security, correctness).
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems: Windows 10/Windows 11.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy software solutions.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities using APIs or SDKs.
• Contribute to technical documentation and user help materials.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support team commitments within the Sprint.
• Support estimation of task effort and dependencies, and maintain coding quality.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Experience with software design, development and deployment, object-oriented software development
• Practical experience integrating AI/Machine Learning (ML) capabilities into software using APIs or libraries (e.g. LLMs, ML services, or SDKs)

• Experience / knowledge of operating in an Agile development environment and familiarity with Agile principles
• Understanding of prompt engineering, AI limitations, and responsible use (bias, security, correctness)
• Good understanding of Windows Operating systems: Windows 10\Windows 11
• Good software designing skills and usage of tools
• Have a strong desire for quality, and attention to detail, good solid analytical skills
• Identify and implement process improvements in Engineering practices
• Provide input and technical content for technical documentation, user help materials and customer training
• Assist in estimating task effort and dependencies, responsible for team commitments within the Sprint, as a scrum team member
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment composed of peers and cross-functional members
• Work independently with limited supervision
• Good troubleshooting & problem-solving skills involving complex systems
• Good understanding of Software Development and Quality Assurance best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
