Job Description
Software Developer Service Platforms.
All about the role
Service Platforms Engineering is looking for a versatile Software Engineer to strengthen our core engineering capability across the Digital Post Purchase domain, the technology powering Contact Center and Field Service Operations at Electrolux.
This is intentionally not a role tied to a single platform or vertical. Rather than being anchored to one CRM or FSM stack, you'll operate as a flexible engineering resource, moving fluidly across our application landscape wherever technical depth is needed most, whether that's a backend service, an integration layer, a customer-facing web experience, or a mobile app. You'll bring strong, portable software engineering skills that apply regardless of the specific platform underneath.
We're looking for someone who thinks like a builder first and a platform specialist second: comfortable picking up new codebases, new frameworks, and new problem domains as priorities shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, well-engineered software components across our Service Platforms ecosystem spanning backend services, integrations, and user-facing applications.
- Flex across technical domains based on business priority, rather than being confined to a single application or vertical.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code in .NET/C# and Python, and contribute to Mobile codebases (React Native) as needed.
- Participate in solution design discussions, bringing sound technical judgement and a bias toward simplicity and reliability.
- Integrate applications with Azure cloud services, MongoDB, and other modern cloud-native infrastructure.
- Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate new technical approaches before committing to full builds.
- Apply and grow domain knowledge in CRM and Field Service platforms where relevant to the work, without being limited by it.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, UX, and delivery teams across a global engineering community.
- Champion good engineering practice - code review, testing, CI/CD, and documentation - and contribute to a strong, collaborative engineering culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 -5 years of professional experience as Software developer.
- Strong, hands-on coding ability in .NET/C# and Python, this is the core of the role.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-native application design (preferably Azure).
- Demonstrated ability to work across different codebases and technologies rather than specializing narrowly.
- Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across a global team.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
Big Pluses
- Mobile app development experience, particularly React Native.
- Prior exposure to Cloud CRM platforms (SAP Sales/Service Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, MS Dynamics 365) or FSM solutions (IFS FSM, SAP FSM).
Where you'll be
This is a full-time position, based in Bangalore, India.
Benefits Highlights
- Smart hybrid working model, currently at 60/40 with a planned shift to 80/20 in the future
- Discounts on our award-winning Electrolux products and services
- Family-friendly benefits
- Extensive learning opportunities and a flexible career path
