Job summary

NTT DATA in Bangalore seeks a Software Development Specialist to join our team focused on RPG operations for IBM iSeries. The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of RPG programming experience, strong DB2/400 and SQL for iSeries, and competence in RPG/400, RPGLE, and Free-format RPG.

Exposure to AWS production support is a plus; you should be able to prioritize tasks and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Rotational shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in RPG programming.
• Strong hands-on experience with DB2/400 and SQL for iSeries; solid experience on IBM iSeries (AS/400). Proficient in RPG/400, RPGLE, and Free-format RPG.
• Strong knowledge of DB2 for i, SQL, and database design; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• AWS production support experience would be an added advantage.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

We are looking for RPG operations resource with the below skills

• 3-5+ years of experience in RPG programming
• Strong hands-on experience with DB2/400 and SQL for iSeries. Solid experience in application development and maintenance on IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform.Proficient in RPG/400, RPGLE, and Free-format RPG programming.Strong knowledge of DB2 for i, SQL, and database design.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• AWS production support experience would be an added advantage
