The candidate will participate in SDLC, release management, and on-call support to ensure reliable data loads. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of ETL experience, strong communication, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of enterprise data warehouse ETL development.
• 4 years of ETL development experience using Teradata versions.
• 3 years of SQL experience with Teradata and/or other databases.
• Strong documentation of ETL logic and workflow processing.
• Experience in SDLC and release management, including releases.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently across data warehousing activities.
• Experience working with UNIX environments.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains data warehouse ETL or reporting code per standards.
• Applies project management techniques using waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Participates in 24x7 on-call support rotations for data loads and incidents to meet SLAs.
• Creates and documents ETL processes, workflow, and data lineage.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Assists in release-related activities within the SDLC.

We are currently seeking a Software Development Senior Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Responsibilities

• 4+ years of enterprise data warehouse ETL development.
• 4 years of experience ETL development using various versions of Teradata.
• 3 years of experience with proficiency in SQL with Teradata Oracle and/or databases.
• Expert at documenting ETL logic and workflow processing.
• Experience in working within the systems development lifecycle and release management, releases.
• Develops and applies project management techniques using waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Experience in participating in 24 x 7 on-call support rotation providing primary and secondary support to daily data loads and miscellaneous incidents, guarding to meet all data load and reporting SLAs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Develops statements of problems and requirements. Can translate both business to technical and technical to business written and verbal communications.
• Able to work independently in all of the above areas of knowledge.
• Experience working with UNIX.
• 2 years of designing, developing and maintaining Control-M or Tivoli Workload Scheduler.
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents data warehouse ETL or reporting code according to NTT Data and customer standards, policies, procedures, security and compliance requirements.
• Understands and foresees implications of decisions.
• Understands the core business process and purpose of the functional area.
