Job summary

NTT DATA Bengaluru is seeking a Software Development Senior Analyst to join our data warehouse team. The role focuses on Enterprise Data Warehouse ETL development, Teradata ETL, and SQL across Teradata/Oracle databases.

Responsibilities include documenting ETL logic, SDLC and release management, 24x7 on-call support for data loads, UNIX experience, and using scheduling tools such as Control-M or Tivoli. Strong written/verbal communication and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Enterprise Data Warehouse ETL development.
• 4 years of ETL development using Teradata.
• 3 years of SQL for Teradata, Oracle and/or other databases.
• Experience documenting ETL logic and workflow processing.
• Experience in SDLC and release management.
• Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Experience on 24x7 on-call support rotation ensuring data loads and SLAs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with UNIX.
• 2 years designing, developing and maintaining Control-M or Tivoli Workload Schedulers.
• Designs, codes, tests and documents ETL or reporting code to standards.
• Understands business process and purpose of function.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Software Development Senior Analyst to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• 4+ years of Enterprise Data Warehouse ETL development.
• 4 years of experience in ETL development using various versions of Teradata.
• 3 years of experience with proficiency in SQL for Teradata, Oracle and/or other databases.
• Expertise at documenting ETL logic and workflow processing.
• Experience working within systems development lifecycle and release management.
• Develops and applies project management techniques with waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Experience participating in 24 x 7 on‑call support rotation providing primary and secondary support to daily data loads and miscellaneous incidents, ensuring all data load and reporting SLAs are met.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop statements of problems and requirements; translate both business to technical and technical to business communications.
• Ability to work independently in all of the above areas of knowledge.
• Experience working with UNIX.
• 2 years of designing, developing and maintaining Control‑M or Tivoli Workload Schedulers.
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents data warehouse ETL or reporting code according to NTT Data and customer standards, policies, procedures, security and compliance requirements.
• Understands and foresees the implications of decisions.
• Understands the core business process and purpose of the functional area.
