Overview

We are seeking a Software Development Manager with strong expertise in .NET technologies (.NET Framework 4.8, .NET Core 6/7/8/9) and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) to lead a high-performing development team in a full-time remote role. You will be responsible for driving the development of scalable, high-quality software solutions and managing a distributed team, working closely with global stakeholders in US shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage full software development lifecycle: planning, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Drive technical decision-making, ensure architectural alignment, and promote engineering best practices.
• Oversee complete project lifecycle – from planning through deployment.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams working on backend (.NET), frontend (MERN), and cloud (AWS, Azure).
• Run Agile ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Use Jira and Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage sprint activities and project tracking.
• Liaise with US clients for requirement gathering, updates, and change management.
• Proactively identify risks and drive resolution strategies.
• Ensure process adherence, proper documentation, and QA best practices.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in .NET Framework 4.8, .NET Core 6/7/8/9, and C#
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework/Core
• Proven delivery experience on AWS or Azure cloud platforms
• Understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful services, and cloud-native development
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation tools (ARM, Terraform, etc.)
• Familiarity with SQL Server and modern database technologies (NoSQL, Cosmos DB, etc.)
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Excellent understanding of software engineering best practices and agile methodologies
• Strong experience managing web and cloud-based application projects
• Proficient with Jira and Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with remote teams and US stakeholders
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
