Job summary

Onedirect, based in Bengaluru, is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer (SDE III) to help build and scale innovative products in the customer experience domain. Candidates should have a deep understanding of software architecture, design, and development, with expertise in Microservices and various frameworks.

This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, contributing to products that resonate with customers. Ideal candidates will have over 6 years of experience in product development and a passion for technology.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Software Architect or Principal Engineer.
• Excellent knowledge of designing and developing Microservices.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, Hibernate, Kafka, Redis, etc.
• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Good knowledge of design and development of Distributed Systems.
• Proven experience on any Cloud platforms - AWS/Azure/GCP.
• A technical mindset with great attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine software requirements.
• Develop high-level product specifications with system integration considerations.
• Write clean, maintainable code while iterating and shipping features.
• Communicate concepts and guidelines to the development team.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers.

Job Description

• Collaborate with all stakeholders to determine functional and non-functional requirements for software development
• Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
• Write clean, maintainable code while rapidly iterating and shipping the features
• Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to the development team
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior developers
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
• Approve final product before launch
