Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking a frontend engineer to design and build responsive UI features using React and TypeScript. You will own frontend features from design through deployment, including monitoring in production, and collaborate with backend engineers to define clean API contracts.

You will work with designers to turn mockups into polished, production‑ready interfaces, write unit and integration tests, and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional coding experience.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and OOP.
• Solid HTML/CSS skills and responsive design.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data reasoning in the UI.
• Ability to write clean, testable code and accept code-review feedback.
• Experience with Node.js to work across the stack.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and frontend build tooling.
• Demonstrated coding ability through projects or coursework.

REQUIREMENTS

• – Strong fundamentals in data structures and object‑oriented programming
• – Solid HTML/CSS skills and understanding of responsive design
• – Working knowledge of SQL for reasoning about data the UI consumes
• – Ability to write clean, testable, maintainable code and take feedback well in code review
• – Experience with Node.js, enough to work across the stack when needed
• – Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and frontend build tooling
• – Demonstrated coding ability through past projects, internships, or coursework
