What you'll do
Docusign is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer in Test to join our Digital Experience team under the Marketing vertical. The Software Engineer in Test will be responsible for ensuring quality of the microservices, applications, tools, and UI at Docusign. You will work with passionate people who care about their customers and want to deliver solutions that improve customer productivity for complex workflows. The right candidate knows how to work in a fast-paced agile environment and brings an aptitude to learn and share.
This position reports to the Sr. Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Write test plans and test cases for assigned features, review, and provide feedback.
• Identify incomplete or unclear feature definitions and collaborate with stakeholders to clarify.
• Review feature specifications, requirements, and product design for testability across our Web Application.
• Develop maintainable and efficient automated tests within the existing test framework.
• Maintain quality and stability of test automation across multiple features.
• Enhance regression test assets and stability continuously.
• Contribute to the maintainability and scalability of the test automation framework and test cases.
• Build tools and dashboards to improve QA efficiency.
• Develop a world-class automation infrastructure for testing and CI/CD.
• Be a focused, results-oriented team member, delivering high-quality product testing and automation.

Job Designation
Hybrid: The employee divides time between in-office and remote work, with a minimum of 2 days in-office per week.

What you bring

Basic

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in quality engineering within a software organization.
• Experience with programming in Ruby, JavaScript, C#, or Java.
• Experience testing web applications built in React and Node.
• Experience with API testing.
• Experience with git, CI/CD tools.

Preferred

• Proven track record in web application test automation.
• Strong UI automation framework experience.
• Knowledge of testing SaaS applications.
• Ability to communicate quality metrics during releases.
• Experience with CI systems.
• Willingness to mentor and share knowledge.
• Data-driven decision-making experience.
