Job summary

Flam is seeking a detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 3–4 years of experience to join the quality assurance team. The role focuses on manual testing to maintain the highest quality standards, with automation exposure as a plus.

You will perform comprehensive testing of web and mobile apps, create test plans and reports, report defects, and work with product managers and developers to ensure coverage.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Postman is a plus.
• Understanding of API testing and database testing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports based on requirements.
• Identify, document, and report defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective test coverage.
• Perform regression testing and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
• Execute functional, integration, and system-level testing.
• Contribute to automation testing efforts using appropriate tools, when required.
• Provide clear and detailed defect reports to developers.

What We Are Looking For
